Sam’s Club is a membership-only warehouse club retail store, owned and operated by Walmart. With over 500 stores globally, Sam’s Club has been around for over four decades and offers members with exclusive savings and deals.

Challenge —

The brand needed a refresh, a new logo and visual identity built on a brand narrative that resonates with both members and associates.

Approach

The duality of colors in the original logo mark suggested a dissociation between the business and its consumers. We de-emphasized this dichotomy and joined the shape to indicate connection and togetherness, retaining the iconic diamond as the foundation of our visual identity.
